In case you don’t have time for a Full Day Tour, this short tour will take you to the most visited and picturesque villages of our island! Through our Half Day Tour, you can take a good taste of what the island looks like, its general landscape, as well as its food and architecture!
Our starting point for this excursion is Samos Town. From there you will ascend the surrounding hills enjoying the fantastic view on route. You will pass through the villages of Mitilini and Hora towards your first stop: the village of Pythagorion.
Pythagorion is built on top of the ancient city of Samos and each stone witnesses its ancient past. Today it is a beautiful picturesque port town, the most visited spot on the island due to its historic background and its natural beauty. In Pythagorion you will take your time to enjoy local delicacies for lunch and to shop souvenirs for your loved ones back home.
In the early afternoon you will continue your trip to the evergreen northern coast and you will eventually reach Kokkari: one more coast village of exceptional beauty. Here you will have free time to wander around the narrow colorful streets and perhaps enjoy a coffee break before you take off for the same route back to your starting point: the picturesque port of Samos Town.
